The testing of your faith works patience.
If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God with faith, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to you.
Each one is tempted when he is attracted and enticed by his own lust, then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin, and when sin is consumed, it brings forth death.
Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit the fatherless (orphans) and widows in their affliction (distress), and to keep unstained (spotless, clean) from the world.
Speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty.

Then he must call for the elders of the Assembly and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer offered in faith shall restore the one who is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
He who turns a sinner from the error of his way, will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
