Read the Scriptures and comment below:
What you understood? How can you see it in your life?

Your eyes will be opened, and you will be as God, knowing good and evil. Good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and desirable to make one wise. (Gen 2:17,3:3-7)

1. How to respond to temptation?
Man shall not live by bread alone, but live by every word of God.
You shall not tempt the Lord your God.
You shall worship Him and serve Him only. (Mat 4:4,7,10, Lu 4:4,12,8)

Do not love the world nor the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
All that is in the world is passing away, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, but the one who does the will of God remains forever. (1 Jn 2:15-17)

Additional verses
Those who hear and receive the word with joy; and these have no root, they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. (Lu 8:13)

Keep watching and praying, that you may not enter into temptation.
The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. (Mar 14:38, Mat 26:41)

If anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. (Gal 6:1)

2. What is sin?
The hand of the LORD is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear.
Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. (Isa 59:1-2)
To him who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. (Jam 4:17)

The soul that sins, shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son;
the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Eze 18:20)

When the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, shall he live?
All his righteousness that he has done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he had trespassed,
and in his sin that he had sinned, in them shall he die. (Eze 18:24)

When I say unto the wicked: You shall die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
if he restore the pledge, give again what he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life,
without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. (Eze 33:14-15)

The things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, slanders. (Mat 15:18-19)

The works of the flesh are are obvious: fornication, adultery, uncleanness, sensuality, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, quarrel, emulations, anger, strife, dissensions, factions, envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings and such like; of the which I tell you, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:19-21)

3. What is repentance?
Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of;
but the sorrow of the world works death. (2 Cor 7:10)

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Pe 3:9)

Showed that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. (Act 26:20)

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Mat 3:2,4:17,Mar 1:15)

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (punish, discipline): be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev 3:19-22)

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee,
saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. (Lu 17:3-4 )

Except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. (Lu 13:3,5)
I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord GOD. “Therefore, turn (repent) and live. (Eze 18:32)

Example of a practical decision or good application:
