What you understand and how you can see it in your life?
What is learning? Learning is the process of acquiring skills and knowledge.
How do we learn? By: reading history, listening to music, and following good examples. We learn from those who are are older, in order to help and serve those who are younger.
How do you retain information? Through hearing, seeing, and physically practicing things you are learning.
It is good to combine all three styles: first hear it, second see it, third do it.
What do you have after learning? The ability to deliver results!
Have you seen that when you know more about a subject, you have more confidence?
Have you seen when you practice what you know, it becomes wisdom?
Will you check to see if the doctrine is right and sufficient (like correct, precise and complete)?
Will you check to see if the practice is useful and profitable (like efficient and fruitful)?
Why teach others? To better retain what you have learned, and to help empower others as you have been empowered!
How should you teach others? With joy and confidence!
How do you learn a new language? By listening and reading then if possible live some time with those speaking it.
What is the best text to use as scripture? The Gospel from the Bible, because it is the most popular and precise translation across history in the whole world.
Why learn math? Because it deals with the logic of quantity, shape, and arrangement. Math is helping you be accurate or precise in your work.
(Sometimes there is information that is unproductive or is hurtful.)
How do you forget something? Forgive, forsake, abandon, leave, miss, neglect, omit.
How do you remember something? Think about it, meditate about it, write about it, and even sing about it!
Will you make the decision to continue to learn, practice and teach constantly?
Will you do what you know is correct no matter what you see or feel?
There is a special connection of understanding between the mind, the hand, and the heart. That is why you should make colourful posters every day about your new decisions and goals, and put them where you live!
Will you sing the Scripture songs from the Life Letters?
Sing for example the stanza of ‘Inheritance’ from the Family Hymn about learning.
Here are the lyrics:
I learn to learn, I learn to live, I learn to love, and leave my legacy
I live to learn, I live to live, I live to love, and leave my legacy,
I love to learn, I love to live, I love to love, and leave my legacy,
I leave a legacy of learning, I leave a legacy of living, I leave a legacy of loving, What is the legacy you are leaving?
You leave a legacy of learning, You leave a legacy of living, You leave a legacy of loving, This is the legacy we are leaving!
