God rescuing the children of Israel from Pharaoh and Egypt, then guiding them in the desert and giving them laws how to live holy.

The second book of the Torah begins with the hope of a new generation thriving in Egypt. Unfortunately power, jealousy and other sins existed in that city and tempted the hearts of these kings. Yet Yehovah God shows us that He always hears the cries of the oppressed and is there for the afflicted. The people are led into the wilderness to meet their relationship with Him while struggle sometime with former slavery. This history teaches us that strong leadership and a loving and merciful God offer healing, redemption and hope for the future.

Genesis is an overview book of history outline teaching the beginnings of the relationship between God and man. We Begin Everything with God Walking by Faith Multiplying Blessings

Chapter 1 from the book of Genesis

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The earth was formless and void, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness.

God called the light day, and He called the darkness night. Evening came, and then morning, the first day.

Then God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, separating water from water.”

So God made the expanse and separated the water below the expanse from the water above the expanse. And it was so.

God called the expanse sky. Evening came, and then morning, the second day.

Then God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.

God called the dry land earth, and He called the gathering of the water seas. And God saw that it was good.
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation, herbs yielding seed, fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed.” And it was so.

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it, after their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Evening came, and then morning, the third day.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will be as signs for seasons and for days and years.

They will be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.

God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night, as well as the stars.

God placed them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Evening came, and then morning, the fourth day.

Then God said, “Let the water swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”

So God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves and swarms in the water, after their kinds, and every winged bird after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
So God blessed them saying, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters of the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”

Evening came, and then morning, the fifth day.

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kinds: cattle, creatures that crawl, and the wildlife of the earth after their kinds.” And it was so.

So God made the beasts of the earth after their kinds, the livestock after their kinds, and creatures that creeps on the ground after their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals, all the earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.”

So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female.

God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that moves on the earth.”

God also said, “Look, I have given you every plant yielding seed on the surface of the entire earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This shall be food for you, for all the wildlife of the earth, for every bird of the sky, and for every creature that crawls on the earth, everything having the breath of life in it. I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. Evening came, and then morning, the sixth day.

Read the Scriptures and comment below:
What you understood? How can you see it in your life?

Your eyes will be opened, and you will be as God, knowing good and evil. Good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and desirable to make one wise. (Gen 2:17,3:3-7)

1. How to respond to temptation?
Man shall not live by bread alone, but live by every word of God.
You shall not tempt the Lord your God.
You shall worship Him and serve Him only. (Mat 4:4,7,10, Lu 4:4,12,8)

Do not love the world nor the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
All that is in the world is passing away, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, but the one who does the will of God remains forever. (1 Jn 2:15-17)

Additional verses
Those who hear and receive the word with joy; and these have no root, they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. (Lu 8:13)

Keep watching and praying, that you may not enter into temptation.
The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. (Mar 14:38, Mat 26:41)

If anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. (Gal 6:1)

2. What is sin?
The hand of the LORD is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear.
Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. (Isa 59:1-2)
To him who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. (Jam 4:17)

The soul that sins, shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son;
the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Eze 18:20)

When the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, shall he live?
All his righteousness that he has done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he had trespassed,
and in his sin that he had sinned, in them shall he die. (Eze 18:24)

When I say unto the wicked: You shall die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
if he restore the pledge, give again what he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life,
without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. (Eze 33:14-15)

The things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, slanders. (Mat 15:18-19)

The works of the flesh are are obvious: fornication, adultery, uncleanness, sensuality, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, quarrel, emulations, anger, strife, dissensions, factions, envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings and such like; of the which I tell you, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal 5:19-21)

3. What is repentance?
Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of;
but the sorrow of the world works death. (2 Cor 7:10)

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Pe 3:9)

Showed that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. (Act 26:20)

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Mat 3:2,4:17,Mar 1:15)

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (punish, discipline): be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev 3:19-22)

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee,
saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. (Lu 17:3-4 )

Except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. (Lu 13:3,5)
I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord GOD. “Therefore, turn (repent) and live. (Eze 18:32)

Example of a practical decision or good application:
I will confess my temptations to avoid sin!
I will repent replacing worldliness with righteousness.

Matthew 9:2-8 They brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.” Some of the scribes said to themselves, “This fellow blasphemes.” Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Why are you thinking evil in your hearts? “Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’? “But so that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” then He *said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” And he got up and went home. When the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such power to men.
